Nicole Pingon
Nicole Pingon is a multidisciplinary artist, theatre maker and artist facilitator, working across live performance, installation and digital mediums. She enjoys collaborative, curiosity-led, process-driven creative spaces, and exploring the possibilities of physical and sonic worldbuilding in live performance. She tends to find herself part of new work development and devised processes, but is generally curious to explore anything that crosses her path. In 2021, she co-directed the world premiere of Blush Opera’s new Australian opera, Chop Chef for Riverside Theatres Parramatta. She is a proud member and collaborator of the Little Eggs Collective and Ninefold Ensemble, and was part of CAAP’s inaugural Artist Lab, and the Wheeler Centre’s Signal Boost programme in 2020. Lately, she has enjoyed observing suburban gardens bloom, and short commutes via bicycle. She hopes her tomatoes make it to summer before being nibbled on by cockatoos and other critters!
