Jess Shane is an audio producer, documentarian, and artist from Tkaronto, currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She co-founded Constellations in a Toronto park over a rant, many jokes, and a thermos full of wine with Michelle. One of her most delicious and productive thermoses to date.

Her favourite sounds are hot mac n cheese being stirred (💋) and Georgian polyphony, ideally simultaneously. 

Jess was previously a producer on CBC podcasts Personal Best and Mic Drop, and is a frequent contributor to BBC Short Cuts. She's currently an MFA candidate in Hunter-CUNY's Integrated Media Arts program, researching and making work about documentary ethics and collaborative storytelling.

Jess is Constellations' creative producer and was a part of the 2020 Season programming committee.
